Stripe's own processing fees are separate and paid directly to Stripe. Sittersite itself is subscription software; we don't hold your funds or act as a marketplace.
Booking-related messages, not spam
Sittersite keeps communication focused on your actual bookings and account activity. Email is always included; SMS is optional.
- Email is the primary channel for confirmations and updates.
- SMS, where enabled, is limited to booking-related messages (for example, confirmations, changes, and reminders) for sitters and clients who opt in.
- Clients can always complete bookings and get updates by email even if they never opt in to SMS.
